Support for Echo-JS-Kit Comment System

Could Chat Catcher be enhanced to support the Echo/JS-Kit Comment System, or any comment system that leaves the native WordPress comments intact?

        Hi Shannon,

From what I’ve seen, JS-Kit/Echo is not there (at least yet). Since I implemented it on my blog (http://blog.maskil.info/), most (if not all) links to my posts on Twitter or F/F have not appeared on Echo.

Echo leaves the original comments on WordPerfect intact, so I thought it might be possible to integrate Chat Catcher with it on that basis.

I’m actually thinking of moving over to DISQUS if things don’t improve. At least that way I can use the BackType and/or Chat Catcher plugins to do what JS-Kit/Echo claims to be able to.

        Regards,

        Russell Cohen (“Maskil”)

Chat Catcher currently supports DISQUS. There were plans to add JS-Kit, but it seems like it might be redundant at this point since Echo provides very similar functionality. What are your thoughts on that?
